Born in Germany 1980, I spent my childhood summers at the West Coast of Sweden. Those days, only ferries would bring you to the core of Scandinavia and through that, I found my interest into shipping and the Scandinavian landscapes. Especially the short summer nights with their magical lights keep fascinating me.
By buying a Volkswagen van after school and rearranging it for camping, I found much interest in travelling within Europe. Still today driving the van is the best way for photo journeys.
When travelling overseas both North America with its wild coasts and mountains and Africa with its breathtaking lights and wide deserts have cast a spell on me.
Today, I am merely focussing on taking pictures of landscapes and maritime sceneries.
